New Pizzeria Opens in Merritt IslandTommy's Pizzeria has opened in Merritt Island in the same plaza that houses Exit Island & Beach Realty. The new owner of Tommy's came by our office the other day with one of his hand tossed cheese pizzas and I must tell you it was awesome! With only a handful of mom and pop pizzerias left on Merritt Island I look forward to having one so close to my work as well as my Catalina Isles subdivisionneighborhood. Unfortunately the chains have taken over Merritt Island, but with the brave few non chains that are left I feel as if my pizza eating days are not over.
